Victor
was born on December 29, 2002, and began his show career at exactly three months of age, winning two B Match Terrier
Group placements (see the photograph below taken at Victor's first show on March 29, 2003). Teamed with handler
Aaron Wilkerson, Victor entered the regular classes for the first time at six months -- again the youngest in the ring --
and was awarded Winners Dog and Best of Winners, earning his first two points. The next month, Victor secured another victory
by winning his first three-point-major and first Best of Breed ribbon! At nine months of age, Victor secured his second
major. At ten months of age, Victor picked up his fourth Best of Breed ribbon, third major, and his championship! Victor
then retired from the show ring to enjoy spending quality time with his new family and his fellow Westie companion,
Luna, in Corpus Christi, Texas, then Indiana (as well as some vacation time in Brazil). Sadly, Victor fell ill in June 2016, and passed away on June 18. He will be forever lovingly remembered by us and by his human family,
especially Dr. Alex Rotta.
