Ingenue has
always loved making new friends and, in addition to her obvious star presence, could easily have won the Miss
Congeniality award at each show she attended. Ingenue is pictured above following her show ring debut
on April 23, 2005, where she displayed a bit of her star power and won the 6 - 9 month puppy bitch class.
She followed that up with a Puppy Terrier Group Three placement at the Corpus Christi Kennel Club show on August
13, 2005. Ingenue then took a break from the ring while we finished her sister, GiGi. Ingenue returned to the ring February 18, 2006, and took Winners
Bitch/Best Opposite Sex at the Guadalupe Valley Dog Fanciers
show in San Marcos, Texas. On April 8 and 9, 2006, at the San Jacinto Kennel Club show, Ingenue won back-to-back majors
from the Bred-by class, going Winners Bitch/Best of Winners Saturday under Judge Dorothy D. Nickles and Winners Bitch Sunday
under Judge Don Rogers. On April 23, 2006, Ingenue took another win from the Bred-by class under Judge Polly Smith,
and on August 13, 2006, she was awarded Winners Bitch and Best Opposite Sex at the Corpus Christi Kennel Club show under
Judge John
Wade. Back in San Marcos on February 18, 2007, Ingenue took Winners Bitch and Best Opposite Sex under Judge Judy Webb,
and the following weekend took Winners Bitch and Best of Breed at the Brazoria Kennel Club show under Judge Mildred Bryant.
Ingenue then earned her championship title and third major with an award of Winners Bitch and Best of Winners from Judge Neatha
Robinson at the Houston Kennel Club show on March 17, 2007. All of Ingenue's championship points are from the Bred-by
class, shown by Paula. As a recipient of the AKC Bred-By-Exhibitor Championship Medallion, Ingenue qualified for entry
in both the December 2007 and 2008 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship Invitational shows. Following Ingenue's retirement from the show ring, she moved to her
forever home with loving parents Gina and Kirk Smith, where she lived a happy life until her passing in October 2018.
