Secret was first revealed at the Guadalupe Valley
Dog Fanciers show in San Marcos, Texas, on February 16, 2008, where she won her puppy class and went on to take Reserve
Winners Bitch under Judge Elliott B. Weiss. Secret earned her first points from the 6-9 month puppy class with back-to-back
wins at the San Jacinto Kennel Club shows April 5 and 6 2008, under Judges Pat Huber and Lenora Riddle. Since then,
she has enjoyed a number of accomplishments in the ring on the way to her championship, including two Puppy Terrier Group
One awards, Best In Match at the 2008 Houston All Terrier Club AKC Sanctioned A Match, Best Opposite in Sweeps at the West
Highland White Terrier Club of America's National Sweepstakes event in October 2008, and Best of Breed/Terrier Group Three
from the classes. Secret earned her championship title with an award of Winners Bitch and Best of Breed for a major
win at the Brazos Valley Kennel Club show on Sunday, March 29, 2009, under Judge Peggy L. Lloyd. See
some of Secret's photos and show highlights below, and see our 2009 Show News page for information and photos from Secret's successes in the show ring as a special shown by professional handler
Klayton A. Harris from April through December 2009. In that period, Secret achieved the ranking of #1 Westie Bitch,
#3 Westie All Breed, and #5 Westie Breed with 75 Best of Breed wins and numerous group wins and group placements as well as
an invitation to the 2010 Westminster Kennel Club show and to the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship All Breed Invitational.
On October 8, 2010, we were awarded the 2009 Annual
Award for Best of Breed Bitch from the West Highland White Terrier Club of America, an honor that we share with co-owner Judith
A. White, in recognition for the winning show record attained by Secret in 2009. In addition, despite her absence from
the ring in 2010, Secret remained among the Top 25 Westies for the qualifiying period (October 8, 2009 - October 12, 2010)
and received an invitation to the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship show scheduled for December 4-5, 2010, in Long Beach,
California.
After retiring from
the ring, Secret was mated with BIS CH Leonhard's Traveler F'MKC and produced a litter of puppies on April 5, 2011:
TullyBloom's Covert Commander Chaos ("Commander Chaos"), TullyBloom's Classified Credentials ("CC"), and TullyBloom's Secret Agent Man ("Sammy"). In February 2012, Secret moved
to a secluded new location with her new owner where she spent many glorious years before her passing (at a time and place
that remains classified). The only thing that Secret could never hide from anyone was her beauty, which lives on in her offspring,
and in their offspring. Rest in Peace, our beautiful Secret.
