2006 Show News

Below are some photographs of Marcus (who finished 2006 as #14 Westie All Systems) with his handler, Christopher Keith, at the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship invitational show held in Long Beach, California, on December 3, 2006.  GiGi was also invited, but opted instead to go to Judy White's house in Ohio for a promising breeding.  Ingenue finished the year lacking five points for her championship.  Look for her return to the show ring toward the end of winter in 2007.

Marcus (CH TullyBloom's Marcus First) and GiGi (CH TullyBloom's Gibson Girl) both received invitations to the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship invitational show scheduled for December 2-3, 2006, in Long Beach, California, because each of them attained a ranking among the Top 25 Westies in the country during the qualification period from October 12, 2005, to October 10, 2006.  This was a particularly remarkable feat for GiGi, who has not been in the show ring since the first part of the year.  In addition, GiGi received a second invitation for her achievements from the Bred-by Exhibitor class.  We are very proud of these accomplishments, and share our pride and joy with Marcus' co-owner Judy White, and with co-breeders Shane Allbee and Kay McGuire (who is also a co-owner of GiGi).

GiGi has had a very successful short run in the show ring as a special, attaining the AKC breed standing of Top Ten Westie (along with Marcus) and #2 Westie bitch (for shows processed through May 14, 2006).  However, she will not hold this standing as she plans to leave the show ring for a bit of time off before a promising breeding.  As a recipient of the AKC Bred-By-Exhibitor Championship Medallion, GiGi is qualified for entry in both the December 2006 and 2007 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship Invitational shows.
