CC ENDS THE YEAR
WITH EUKANUBA WEEK WINS CC (BISS Bronze GCH TullyBloom's Classified Credentials) flew
to Florida with Alfonso and Ashlie for her final two shows of the year, including the highly competitive AKC/Eukanuba
National Championship event in Orlando. Alfonso showed CC to Best of Breed over the other Top Westies
in the country at the Central Florida Kennel Club show on December 12, 2013 under Judge Glenda P. Dawkins, and to Select
Bitch at the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship show held December 14-15, 2013, under Judge Peter J. Green. These
two very impressive final showings capped a great run in the ring for CC after earning her Champion title in March
2013, thanks to Team A&A (Alfonso Escobedo and Ashlie Whitmore). Since March, CC has won more than 70 Best of
Breed ribbons, numerous Terrier Group placements, including Group I, her Grand Champion title, a Best In Specialty
Show win, her Bronze Grand Champion title (closing in now on her Silver Grand Champion title), attained the spot
of AKC #3 Westie Breed and #4 Westie All-Breed for 2013, and earned an invitation to the 2014 Westminster Kennel Club
show. What a good girl!

CALEE'S SLAM DUNK IN DALLAS - NEW CHAMPION TULLYBLOOM'S CALENDAR GIRL Calee
carried the win of the weekend (for us) at the Lone Star State Classic cluster in Dallas (December 5-8,
2013), during an ice storm no less! CC was there with her handler (Alfonso Escobedo) and took Best Opposite Sex to the #1 Westie each day. Despite absentees
due to weather conditions, the majors for bitches held the entire weekend, and Ready (in Bred-by) and Calee (in Open class) were in the ribbons each day. On the last day of the show, under Judge Pamela B. Peat, Ready was 2nd
place in her competitive Bred-by-exhibitor class and Calee won her equally competitive Open class, then went on to be awarded
Winners Bitch for a major (her third major win) and her Champion title, at 11 months of age and at the same place where she
started in the show ring just five months earlier! We are very proud of Calee's parents, Commander and CoCo, who produced a beautiful litter of 3 puppies on January 4, 2013 and now, by year-end, have two champion offspring (Calee
and her brother, CH TullyBloom's All About The Chase, who finished at 8 months) and one near-Champion (sister TullyBloom's Camera Ready only needs a 3-point major win to finish).

CC AT CONROE Alfonso took CC to the Conroe

and Gloria Geringer.

#3 Westie in breed standings and #4 Westie in all-breed standings per AKC

HOT AND HUMID IN
HUMBLE Unseasonably hot and excessively
humid with a record high on Sunday . . . outdoors, under cover, in the dirt . . . such were the conditions at
the Brazoria Kennel Club shows on November 16 and 17, 2013 in Humble, Texas, under Judges Robert Paust and Darryl Vice.
Alfonso and CC kept it cool with back-to-back Best of Breed wins and a Terrier Group 2 (photo above) under Judge Darryl

Sunday from the 9-12 puppy class under Judges Judy E. Thill and Annemarie Moore, respectively.

Alfonso Escobedo); Paula showed Calee to RWB on Saturday and Winners on Sunday from the puppy class.

Alfonso Escobedo showed CC to Best of Breed wins the entire weekend plus a Terrier Group 2 placement under Judge Charlotte
Patterson (below) on Friday, October 18, 2013. Paula and Charles (yes, Charles!) took turns showing Ready and Calee

AWARD We were excited to receive the 2012 Annual Award from the West Highland White Terrier Club of America
in the category of Bred-by Exhibitor Bitch, presented on October 4, 2013 at the annual dinner meeting of the WHWTCA,
which is held in conjunction with the national specialty show weekend in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
This award reflects CC's achievements in the show ring in 2012. Paula showed Ready at the National on October 6, 2013 and she won the large, competitive Bred-by Exhibitor
class. Alfonso showed Chase to fourth place in his puppy class and showed CC in Best of Breed Competition (CC appears
in the photo above 6th from the left). We are very proud of how our three Westies looked and showed in the ring
at the National.

addition to CC (now BISS Bronze GCH CH TullyBloom’s Classified Credentials), all three of CoCo's puppies
were at the Cottonland Cluster of dog shows in Monroe, Louisiana, during the Labor Day weekend (August 30 – September
2, 2013).
CC and Chase (TullyBloom's All About The Chase) were professionally
handled by Alfonso Escobedo. CC took Best of Breed all four days and placed 2nd in the Terrier Group on Friday under Judge Judy Webb. Chase was only shown the first day and won a four-point major under Judge Judy Webb (Chase was also Best of Winners), giving him
a total of 12 points and three majors at just under 8 months of age.
Paula
showed Calee (TullyBloom's Calendar Girl, pictured) in the 6-9 month puppy class and Ready in the Bred-by class all weekend. On
the first day, Judge Judy Webb awarded Calee Winners Bitch for a four-point major and selected Ready (TullyBloom's
Camera Ready) for Reserve Winners Bitch. Both Calee and Ready won their classes on Friday. On Saturday, Ready took Winners Bitch for a four-point major under Judge Clay Coady and Calee again won her class. On Sunday, Calee won
another four-point major from the 6-9 puppy class under Judge R. C. Williams. We appreciate the ringside help that we
received from friends when we needed an extra hand.

HIGHLIGHTS
FROM HOUSTON We had fun at the Reliant Park World Series of Dog
Shows in Houston, July 17-21, 2013. This was the weekend after the San Antonio Cluster, where CC
was shown by Alfonso Escobedo to Best of Breed wins all four days. None of our Westies were shown in Houston
on Wednesday, July 17, but Paula enjoyed judging the Terrier Bred-by Group as well as watching Judith White
judge the regular classes of Westies for the Houston All Terrier Club show. Below are highlights from the four days
we showed in Houston: At the West Highland White Terrier Club of SE Texas specialty
show on Thursday under Judge Robert Black, Chase took a Reserve 5-point major and CC
was Select Bitch for a 5-point Grand Champion major. On Friday at the Houston Kennel Club show under Judge Polly
Smith, CC was Best Opposite Sex for another 5-point Grand Champion major. On Saturday at the Beaumont Kennel Club show under Judge
Sally Ray Baugniet, CC took Best of Breed, defeating the top Westie dogs in the country, Chase took another Reserve major, and Ready won her Bred-by
class. On Sunday under Judge Virginia L. Lyne, Chase
was Winners Dog for a five-point major, Ready was Reserve
Winner's Bitch, and CC was Best Opposite Sex.
We very much appreciate the expert handling of CC and Chase by Alfonso
Escobedo, Ashlie Whitmore and Scott Sommer and appreicate the assistance of the rest of the team at the Kennel at Champions.
