"Justi"
(click on the photo for Justi's pedigree with links)
We are proud to have breeders Dr. Kay L. McGuire and Shane A. Allbee as co-owners of Justi,
who appears on our Introduction page. Justi exudes the ideal
temperament of a West Highlander, being "possessed with no small amount of self-esteem." We have no doubt she is
capable of performing the traditional function of a Westie, as she appears eager to control the population of squirrels in
our neighborhood. Justi has proven herself to be a conformation standout in the breed, winning her championship with a five-point
major at the West Highland White Terrier Club of America's National Specialty show in July 2001 (with an entry of 50 class
bitches) under distinguished Breeder/Judge Seymour N. Weiss (pictured above). See below for more show photos of Justi. Justi produced
two litters (2002 and 2004), and we chose two puppies for show from each litter: CH TullyBloom's First Victor and GCH CH TullyBloom's Marcus First are from Justi's first litter of six boys; CH TullyBloom's Gibson Girl and CH Ashscot's TullyBloom Ingenue are from Justi's second litter of two girls and one boy. Justi was a treasured member of our family, loved playing
with her children and grandchildren, and never met a person or dog she did not like. Justi passed away peacefully in
Paula's arms on Sunday, September 4, 2016, at 17 years and four momths of age, and we know she is finding new friends everywhere
at the Rainbow Bridge. Rest in peace, sweet Justice.
