YEAR-END WRAP-UP AND WELL WISHES!
last show we attended for the year was the Lone Star State Classic cluster in Dallas, Texas, December 5-8, 2019, where JR
(now MBISS GCHB CH TullyBloom's Just Right) was shown by Alfonso Escobedo and Ashlie Whitmore to
Best of Breed wins two days and Select Dog two days. JR earned his Bronze Grand Champion title the first day of the show by
taking a five-point Best of Breed Grand Champion major under Judge Kenneth Kauffman at the North Texas Terrier Club show.
Envy (CH TullyBloom's Just Envy Me) is pictured above and she was shown by Paula to Select
wins three of the four show days, earning three four-point Grand Champion majors, with our thanks to Judges Ken Kauffman,
Daniel Dowling, and Connie Clark for the honors. Despite his very short "specials" career (August-December), JR
ended the year among the Top Ten Westies Breed and All-Breed in the U.S.A. (#6
and #9, respectively). Other "TullyBloomers" who stepped in and out of the ring this year also made The Canine Chronicle's
Top Dogs list: GCH CH TullyBloom's Steely Man America (March-July) was #10 Breed, #14 All-Breed, GCH
CH TullyBloom's Just Won Look (August-October) #26 Breed, #16 All-Breed, and their Aunt Katniss, BISS
GCHG CH TullyBloom's Girl On Fire (January-February, retiring February 12 following Westminster) #22 Breed,
#34 All-Breed in the country. JR and Envy will return to the ring in 2020. We wish you all a joyful holiday
season and a happy, healthy New Year 2020!
JR CAPTURES CONROE KENNEL CLUB GROUP PLACEMENT
(MBISS GCH CH TullyBloom's Just Right) was Best of Breed both days of the Conroe Kennel Club show,
November 30 and December 1, 2019, and captured Terrier Group Fourth on Sunday under Judge Debra L. Thornton (pictured with
the A-Team's Ashlie Whitmore).
TRIPLE B - JUST THE BEST (OF BREED) BUT BETTER IN
B (now CH TullyBloom's Just The Best But Better) earned the final point for his champion title by winning
Best of Breed at the Cypress Creek Kennel Club show in Bellville, Texas, on November 9, 2019. It was Triple B's first show
since July in Houston, and possibly his retirement from the show ring. To make the day even better, Triple B was also awarded
a Terrier Group Fourth by Judge Carol Jean Nelson, with our appreciation for the honor.
JR CATCHES KUDOS AT CONCHO KENNEL CLUB SHOWS
(MBISS GCH CH TullyBloom's Just Right) continues to make us proud. The pro-handler A-Team of Alfonso
Escobedo and Ashlie Whitmore steered JR to a group win and placements at the Concho Kennel Club shows in San Angelo, Texas,
the weekend of November 2-3, 2019. Our sincere appreciation to Judges Murrel Purkhiser (Group Three, above with Ashlie), Col.
Joe B. Purkhiser (Group Two), and Debra L. Thornton (Group One, above with Alfonso) for the weekend honors.
JR - JUDGED "JUST RIGHT" TO TOP THE TERRIER
GROUP AT TRAVIS COUNTY KENNEL CLUB
(MBISS GCH CH TullyBloom's Just Right) was handled by the A-Team's Alfonso Escobedo and Ashlie
Whitmore at the Travis County Kennel Club shows in Austin, Texas, on October 26 and 27, 2019, winning Best of Breed both days
and winning the Terrier Group's top honors on Saturday under Breeder Judge Robert J. Shreve, with our sincere appreciation.
JR JUST MADE HISTORY FOR TULLYBLOOM!
(now MBISS GCH CH TullyBloom's Just Right) was handled by the A-Team's Alfonso Escobedo during
the "Montgomery" weekend (the largest annual weekend gathering of all Terriers in the U.S.A., culminating on Sunday
at the Montgomery County Kennel Club show, an all-Terrier show and the designated National Specialty for the West Highland
White Terrier Club of America). JR started the weekend winning Select Dog at the Hatboro Kennel Club show on Thursday, October
3, 2019, under Judge Lydia C. Hutchinson. During the WHWTCA's annual dinner Friday night, JR received a Bred-by Champion award
for earning all champion points from the Bred-by Exhibitor class. On Saturday, JR made the final cut of only four Westie male
specials at the Devon Kennel Club show. On Sunday, October 6, 2019, we were very proud when JR made the final cut for Best
of Breed out of the large entry, which included the top-ranked Westies in the country, and we were full of joy when Judge
Kathleen Ferris then awarded the National Specialty Best of Breed win to JR, who was just 16 months old on the day. This is
a most high achievement, and we are very appreciative to Judge Ferris for the huge honor, and deeply grateful to Alfonso Escobedo
and the A-Team for making this dream a reality. This National Specialty Best of Breed win also makes JR an international qualifier
for Crufts for March 2020 and 2021. We are very proud of what TullyBloom has achieved, and very grateful for everyone who
helped to bring us to this very special place of honor.
J'LO WON MORE THAN JUST LOOKS DURING MONTGOMERY WEEKEND
Alfonso Escobedo, assisted by Blade Kilbourne, showed J'Lo (GCH CH TullyBloom's Just Won Look) during
the "Montgomery" weekend in Pennsylvania. J'Lo made the cut at the Devon Kennel Club show on Saturday, October 5,
2019, and made the final cut at the West Highland White Terrier Club of America National Specialty in conjunction with the
huge Montgomery County Kennel Club all-terrier show on October 6, 2019. J'Lo won Best Opposite honors at Devon, with our sincere
appreciation to Judge Cindy Meyer (win photo above along with snapshots from the outdoor ring at Montgomery and the indoor
ring at Hatboro).
KATNISS EVERDEEN RECEIVES ANNUAL AWARD FOR 2018 TOP
CH TullyBloom's Girl On Fire a/k/a Katniss Everdeen was honored with a Top Ten award certificate at the West Highland White Terrier Club of America annual dinner
on October 4, 2019, at the Whitford Country Club in Chester County, Pennsylvania, for achieving Top Ten status in breed and
all-breed rankings for Westies in 2018.
JR JUDGED "JUST RIGHT" FOR BEST IN SPECIALTY
(now BISS GCH CH TullyBloom's Just Right) returned to Colorado with A-Team agent Alfonso Escobedo
for the Rocky Mountain All Terrier Club and Evergreen Colorado Kennel Club shows September 6-8, 2019 in Greeley, and took
top honors in the breed ring at Friday's show under Judge Karen M. Child, which was the designated Specialty show for the
West Highland White Terrier Club of Greater Denver. JR followed that win with a Select Dog GCH major on Saturday under Judge
Joe Lobb, then took Best of Breed again on Sunday under Judge Dennis McCoy. Our huge appreciation to Alfonso for his beautiful
presentation and handling of JR among big competition at these shows, and to the judges who recognized JR for these honors.
(no official win photos available from this weekend).
JUST ONE LOOK WAS ALL IT TOOK FOR J'LO AT ELK CITY,
(GCH CH TullyBloom's Just Won Look) took top honors TWICE in the Terrier Group at the West Central
Oklahoma Kennel Club shows in Elk City, Oklahoma, September 5-8, 2019, winning Terrier Group 2nd the other two days. Our appreciation
to A-Team agent Ashlie Whitmore and to Judges Rosalind Kramer (top photo), Richard V. Miller (middle photo), Darryl Vice,
and Debra L. Thornton (bottom photo) for the very high honors.
JR COMES OUT ON TOP AT TOPEKA
(CH TullyBloom's Just Right) took top honors in the breed ring on Saturday, August 24, 2019, at the
Topeka Kennel Club show under Judge Judy Daniels. JR (at just 14 months) defeated two of the country's top Westies for this
achievement, then the A-Team steered him to a Group Third in a very strong Terrier Group. JR also picked up a Select Dog GCH
major the day before at the Manhattan Kansas Kennel Club show under Judge Judy Webb. JR is pictured with Judge Judy Daniels
and A-Team handler Ashlie Whitmore. We are grateful for these honors.
JR AND J'LO ROCK THE ROCKIES
(CH TullyBloom's Just Right) and J'Lo (CH TullyBloom's Just
Won Look) joined the A-Team of Alfonso Escobedo and Ashlie Whitmore for the Greeley Kennel Club shows in
Colorado the weekend of August 17-18, 2019 (Monday's show was canceled due to a power outage). On Saturday, J'Lo was Best
Opposite and JR made the final cut in the breed ring under Judge Ken Murray. On Sunday, J'Lo was Select Bitch and JR was Best
of Breed under Judge Keke Kahn, then JR went on to win a huge (entry of 257) Terrier Group 3rd under Judge Ken Murray, with
our great appreciation to the judges for these high honors. JR is pictured above with handler Alfonso Escobedo.
STEELY AND THE SUPERIORS SCORE SERIOUS SUCCESSES
AT THE WORLD SERIES OF DOG SHOWS
(GCH CH TullyBloom's Steely Man America)
and his cousins (a/k/a the "Superiors") took on big competition at the Houston World Series of Dog Shows July 17-21,
2019, collected some very impressive wins, and allowed us to bring home two new Champions. The Houston All-Terrier Club show
started off the cluster weekend with longtime Terrier handler now Judge Bergit Coady-Kabel presiding. J'Lo (now CH
TullyBloom's Just Won Look) was shown in the Open Bitch class by A-Team
handler Ashlie Whitmore and was Winners Bitch for a five-point major and her Champion title, and Paula showed JR (CH
TullyBloom's Just Right) who was moved up to Best of Breed competition
following the Dallas shows, and was awarded Select Dog defeating a number of other male specials for a five-point GCH major.
J'Lo was Select Bitch the next day at the first of two Houston Kennel Club shows (J'Lo's first time showing as a new Champion)
for a five-point GCH major, and Envy was RWB under Judge Rosalind Kramer from the Bred-by class with Paula. On Friday, we
were honored when Breeder/Judge Patricia Anne Keenan awarded Envy (now CH TullyBloom's Just
Envy Me) Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for a five-point major and her Champion title,
J'Lo Best Opposite with Ashlie at the lead (also a five-point GCH major), and Steely (shown by the A-Team's Alfonso Escobedo)
was awarded Select Dog among many Champions for a five-point GCH major. On each of the last two days Envy was awarded Best
Opposite, J'Lo was Select Bitch, and Triple B (TullyBloom's Just The Best
But Better) was Winners Dog (and Best of Winners on Saturday), ending the weekend only one
point shy of his Champion title. We had a lot of help throughout the weekend, some from strangers who were standing ringside,
for which we are grateful. We were also blessed with the help and support of "TullyBloom family" members and friends
who came out to the shows. Pictured above from top to bottom is JR, Envy, Triple B, J'Lo, and a lineup of Envy, JR, and Triple
THE SUPERIORS SPARKLE AT STAR-SPANGLED SPECIALTY
"Superiors" spent the July 4th weekend visiting their Aunt Katniss (BISS GCHG CH TullyBloom's Girl On Fire, retired)
for the Lone Star State Classic cluster of dog shows in Dallas, where they sparked some fire of their own in the show ring.
The first day of the show was the Trinity Valley West Highland White Terrier Specialty held on July 4 in conjunction with
the North Texas Terrier Club show, where JR (TullyBloom's Just Right) was Winners Dog for a five-point major
and his Champion title from the Bred-by class (see top photo) and where J'Lo (TullyBloom's Just Won Look)
was handled by agent Alfonso Escobedo to Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for a five-point major (2nd photo above). Our sincere
appreciation to Judge Robert E. Hutton for these special wins. J'Lo was also Reserve Winners on Friday and Saturday, with
our thanks to the A-Team, and is three points shy of her Champion title. JR is also shown above in the ring as a move-up special;
the bottom photo is Paula in the ring with Envy (TullyBloom's Just Envy Me did not win any points at the
shows but looked like a winner!). Triple B (TullyBloom's Just The Best But Better) was Winners Dog at the
Collin County Kennel Club show on Friday for a three-point major, with our thanks to Judge Sharol Candace Way (photo above),
then Reserve on Saturday, and Winners Dog again on Sunday under Judge James Reynolds. Triple B also ended the weekend three
points shy of his Champion title. We had a wonderful weekend visiting with Katniss and her new family, with Paula's cousin
Kathleen and husband Eric, and friends at the shows. Our thanks to Kathleen, Eric, Ana, Analia, and Les Lee Johnston for their
help getting the Superiors to and from the ring, taking photos, and ring/ringside assistance.
THE SUPERIORS SHOW OFF IN THE SHOW-ME STATE - WHWTCA
ROVING AT PURINA FARMS
week prior to celebrating their first birthday, the "Superiors" went on a road trip with us to the Purina Farms
Event Center in Gray Summit, Missouri, for the West Highland White Terrier Club of America (WHWTCA)
National Roving weekend. The Supriors warmed up on the first day of the show weekend (Gateway Terrier Association Show, Judge
Ann F. Yuhasz), with everyone winning their class except J'Lo (2nd place), and Envy was
Reserve Winners Bitch from her big Bred-by class. Our next show day was the day of the Roving, Saturday, June 1, 2019, in
conjunction with the Mississippi Valley Kennel Club show, under Judge Lydia Coleman Hutchinson. Triple B was
2nd in his class (9-12 puppy dog); JR was Reserve Winners Dog from Bred-by; J'Lo won the
9-12 puppy bitch class; and Envy again won her big Bred-by class and was Reserve Winners Bitch. JR
(TullyBloom's Just Right, pictured above with Charles) and Envy (TullyBloom's
Just Envy Me, pictured in top two photos with her ribbons and with WHWTCA President Kathy Farrell) were each awarded
a 3-Point Major for their Reserve wins because the entries were so large that it resulted in double the number
of dogs and double the number of bitches needed for a 5-Point Major. The last two days were the Missouri Rhineland Kennel
Club shows, first under Breeder Judge Linda L. Wells, where Triple B was again 2nd in his class; JR
was Winners Dog and Best of Winners from Bred-by for a 5-Point Major (official win photo above) J'Lo
was 2nd in her 9-12 puppy class; and Envy was 2nd in Bred-by and Reserve Winners Bitch again. On
the last day of the show, under Judge Sue Goldberg, Triple B was Reserve Winners Dog from the 9-12 puppy
class; JR won Bred-by; J'Lo was 2nd in her 9-12 class, and Envy won her
class and again was Reserve Winners Bitch. We are grateful to Elizabeth Melzer, Les Lee Johnston,
and Bev Thompson for coming to our aid with expert ring help. By our calculations, Envy now only needs 3 points for her Champion
title, and JR is only 1 point shy of his Champion title.
STEELY - NEW GRAND CHAMPION, GROUP PLACER, AND TOP
TEN WESTIE - WOW!
(now GCH CH TullyBloom's Steely Man America), expertly
presented by the A-Team of Alfonso Escobedo and Ashlie Whitmore, picked up five GCH majors, including four Best of Breed wins
over other champions at the Claremore Cluster in Oklahoma (March 27-31, 2019), followed by back-to-back group placements in
Alabama (see above photo of Steely winning a Terrier Group 3 placement under Judge Jacqueline L. Stacy) for the Tuscaloosa
and Birmingham KC shows on April 6 and 7, 2019. Steely won his Grand Champion title on the first day of his third weekend
out as a special (a week before his 1st Birthday) during the Peach Blossom Cluster (April 10-14, 2019), winning Select Dog
(5-pt major) under Judge Ken Murray at the Atlanta KC show on Wednesday. Steely followed that with Best Opposite Sex the next
day under Judge Richard William Powell, then back-to-back Best of Breed wins under Judges Gary Doerge and Col. Joe Purkhiser,
and finished the weekend with a Select Specialty win under Judge Wood Wornall at the West Highland White Terrier Club of Greater
Atlanta show on Sunday. Meanwhile, Steely made the list of the Top Ten Westies in the U.S.A. (through March 31, 2019). Note
that Steely's Aunt Katniss (BISS GCHG CH TullyBloom's Girl On Fire) remains on the list following her retirement after Westminster
TRIPLE B - AKC PUPPY OF ACHIEVEMENT!
are not exactly sure what Triple B (TullyBloom's Just The Best But Better) did to earn this Puppy of Achievement that we received
in the mail from the AKC--probably for the accumulation of 10 points from puppy classes, including back-to-back majors from
the 6-9 puppy class--Triple B thinks it is recognition that he is not just the best, but better than the best of puppies!
Either way, he is very proud of his achievement, and so are we!
STEELY WINS CHAMPION TITLE AT FORT WORTH!
(TullyBloom's Steely Man America) is
now CH TullyBloom's Steely Man America thanks to the A-Team of Alfonso Escobedo and Ashlie Whitmore, and with our appreciation
to Judge Kathi Brown who awarded Steely Winners Dog, Best of Winners, and Best of Breed over three specials (photo above)
to give Steely a five-point major and his Champion title at the Fort Worth Kennel Club show on Saturday, March 23, 2019. On
Sunday, Steeley was Select Dog under Judge Vicki L. Abbott.

DOES LOTS MORE WITH MAJORS IN NAVASOTA
"Superiors" were just that at the Brazos Valley Kennel Club shows in Navasota, Texas, the weekend of March 16 and
17, 2019, with our thanks for ringside support and ring help from Amiko Allen, Ginny Smith, and "Katie". We are

Just Envy Me) (pictured above), won the Bred-by class on Saturday and on Sunday was Winners Bitch/Best of Winners/Best of
Breed from the 9-12 puppy class over two specials for a 5-point major. Triple B (TullyBloom's Just The
Best But Better) was Reserve Winners Dog both days from the 9-12 puppy class, and brother JR (TullyBloom's
Just Right) (top two photos) was Winners Dog and Best Opposite over the male special both days for back-to-back 3-point majors
from the Bred-by class.

They joined Steely (TullyBloom's Steely Man America)(not pictured) at the Baytown Kennel Club shows in Crosby,
Texas, the weekend of March 2-3, 2019. Steely was expertly handled by Ashlie Whitmore from the Open Dog class. The first day
of the show (Saturday), under Judge Lee Herr, Steely was Winners Dog and Best of Winners for a 3-point major,
Triple B was Reserve from the 6-9 puppy class, J'Lo was Winners Bitch and Best Opposite
Sex from the 6-9 puppy class for a 3-point major, and Envy was Reserve after winning the Bred-by class. On
Sunday, under Judge James Ham, Steely was again Winners Dog for his second 3-point major and, from the 6-9
puppy class, J'Lo took Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, and Best of Breed over
the special for a 4-point major. We are grateful for friends who helped Paula ringside with getting dogs in and out of the

the second San Jacinto Kennel Club show under Judge Melinda L. Lyon, going Winners Bitch and Best

how wonderful these three judges were with our puppies, doing everything possible to make it a positive experience. Our thanks
also to Kelli Edell for pitching in with ringside assistance on Friday and Saturday.
SELECT AT THE 143RD WESTMINSTER KENNEL CLUB SHOW, AND GETS THE GOLD!
KATNISS GETS THE GOLD AND WINS SELECT AWARD AT WESTMINSTER
Everdeen (now BISS GCHG CH TullyBloom's
Girl On Fire) ended her show career with two major achievements: winning her Gold Grand Champion title with a Best of Breed
major win at the Sun Country Terrier Club show in Phoenix, Arizona, on January 31, 2019, under Judge Loraine Boutwell (see
photo below with handler Ashlie Whitmore), and a Select Bitch award at the Westminster Kennel Club show on February 12, 2019,
in New York City under Judge Alfred J. Ferruggiaro. Katniss was steered to these wins by the professional "A-Team"
of Alfonso Escobedo and Ashlie Whitmore. Alfonso is shown in the photos above presenting Katniss at her final ring appearance
on the green carpet at Westminster. Katniss
ends her career having defeated other champions more than 100 times (at least 70 of which were major wins).
STEELY SHINES AT SUN COUNTRY
