SECRET SUPERHEROES SECURE YEAR-END SUCCESSES! We had a super fun weekend at
the Lone Star State Classic cluster in Dallas, Texas (December 8-11, 2016), closing out another successful year. It was Paula's
first time back in the ring since July (between surgeries) to show Katniss Everdeen (CH TullyBloom's Girl On Fire) as a new
champion. We are grateful to Ashlie Whitmore, assisted by Connery Cole, who took charge of Wonder (CH TullyBloom's Wonder
Woman, CGC), Flash (TullyBloom's Flash Of Brilliance), and Super (TullyBloom's Superwoman, Yes I Am), professionally presenting
each to look their best. Our thanks to Judges Louise Leone, David M. Krogh, Mrs. Darle Heck, and John P. Wade, respectively,
for recognizing and rewarding our secret superheroes. Wonder had a wonder-ful weekend and showed beautifully for Ashlie, taking Best Opposite three of the four days, winning
Best of Breed against one of the top Westies in the country on Friday, and then winning a huge Terrier Group placement under
Judge David Krogh (Wonder with Ashlie are in the top of three photos above). Those wins gave Wonder four- and five-point
Grand Champion majors, and her Grand Champion title! Wonder's parents, Eric Phifer and and Eric Shreiber, already achieved
a CGC (Canine Good Citizen) title with Wonder, and she will now pursue other interests, perhaps including therapy dog work.
Her group placement in Dallas was so significant, it landed her as the #18 Westie (all breed) for 2016. Flash started the weekend just
a single point shy of his Championship. Due to Ashlie's ring conflict on Friday, Paula had the honor of taking Flash
into the ring for Winners Dog and Best of Winners for a four-point major and his Champion title! Connery Cole then handled
Flash to back-to-back Grand Champion majors on Saturday and Sunday. Flash's New Champion photo is the middle of the
above three.
Katniss Everdeen picked up three- and four-point Grand
Champion majors three of the four show days, moving her well on her way toward her Grand Champion title (the bottom of the
three photos, with Judge David Krogh).

GCH CH TULLYBLOOM'S CALL ME KRYPTONITE OFF ON A NEW
ADVENTURE GCH CH TullyBloom's Call Me Kryptonite,
born on August 31, 2015, retired from the show ring at 14 months of age, having earned his GCH title on October 21, 2016.
As of his retirement, Kryptonite ranked in the Top Twenty of all Westies in the U.S.A., holding the #20 Breed spot and
#18 All Breed standing (and remained among the Top 20 at year-end). On November 19, 2016, our very special Kryptonite
met his new parents, Dr. Ken and Mimi Smith, new "sister" Stella, and some other new relatives. Kryptonite will
be taking it easy in the "Big Easy" (New Orleans, Louisiana), but will continue to occupy a special place in our
hearts.

HUMBLE AND BEAUMONT, AND PICKING UP POINTS Between the Beaumont Kennel Club
shows in Humble and the Galveston County/Cypress Creek shows in Beaumont, Texas, the first two weekends of November 2016,
four of the five Secret Superhero puppies were shown and picked up some points. Above on the left is new CH TullyBloom's
Wonder Woman (with Ashlie Whitmore), who picked up eight GCH points between the two weekends, going Best Opposite or Best
of Breed. Above on the right is GCH CH TullyBloom's Call Me Kryptonite (handled on the day by A-Team assistant Miguel), whose
last show was in Humble where he won Best of Breed both days. TullyBloom's Flash Of Brilliance was shown in Beaumont (his
first show since July) and picked up a few points with Best of Winners and Best of Breed wins. TullyBloom's Superwoman, Yes
I Am scooped up a point with Winners Bich the last day of Beaumont, taking Reserve the day before. Wonder, Super, and
Flash will finish their show careers in the capable hands of Alfonso Escobedo and Ashlie Whitmore, with continued show assistance
by Charles as needed. Paula hopes to be back in the ring again soon with Katniss Everdeen (CH TullyBloom's Girl On Fire).

NEW CHAMPION WONDER WOMAN; and READY EARNS
HER COURSING ABILITY TITLE Charles drove to Austin for the
day on October 29, 2016, during the Travis County Kennel Club shows, and with great assistance from the A-Team (Alfonso Escobedo
and Ashlie Whitmore), got the last bred-by point needed for Wonder (left, waiting in the grooming area) to earn her Champion
title, making her new CH TullyBloom's Wonder Woman, CGC (having recently picked up her Canine Good Citizen title via parents
Eric Phifer and Eric Shreiber). Wonder won her CH title in style, going Best Opposite over the bitch special, with our thanks
to Judge Harold Tatro III. While at the show, Charles also got assistance from friend Lyn Sheridan to get Ready in the
performance ring for her third run and third leg to earn her Coursing Ability title (CA ribbons on right above), making her
GCH CH TullyBloom's Camera Ready, CA. Our thanks to the A-Team and Lyn Sheridan for helping Charles, Wonder, and Ready bring
home two new titles in one day!

from the West Highland White Terrier Club of America at the annual meeting held in October 2016 in conjunction with the national specialty

thanks to friends for accepting and receiving these awards on our behalf since we were unable to attend the national this

A SUPER DAY AT THE SAN JACINTO KENNEL CLUB SHOW! We thought the first day at the San Jacinto Kennel Club
show in La Porte, Texas, was a good day for the Secret Superhero puppies, with Kryptonite taking RWD and Katniss Everdeen
taking a Reserve major from the Bred-by class under Judge Connie H. Clark, but Sunday's show (April 10, 2016) under Judge
Carolyn Taylor was super good: TullyBloom's Wonder Woman (below) won her first major from the Bred-by class and TullyBloom's
Call Me Kryptonite, above, won his first major (also from Bred-by), then won Best of Breed over three specials, and then went
on to capture Terrier Group 3rd! We are very grateful for these honors.
